Description: The Bajuria Winter Pond is adjacent to Road 808 at Natur Junction (3.6 kilometers east of the yellow entrance gate of Natur). There are a number of picnic tables at the site, as well as barbecue grills and a fire pit. It’s simply a perfect place for a picnic and a quiet rest stop.
The source of the pond’s water is rainwater, as well as a spring that flows from nearby. The winter pond fills up in the rainy months, and dries up (either completely or partially) in the summer. This phenomenon is quite common in Mediterranean climates.
